from an experienced freelance editor with a background in traditional publishing

"Harriet is an outstanding editor. She is always encouraging, has a fantastic eye for detail, collaborates creatively and diplomatically, and is clearly determined to oversee and produce quality writing."

A little bit about me

I'm a freelance editor with a background in traditional publishing; before going freelance in 2017, I spent eight years working in-house for leading educational publishers including Pearson and Oxford University Press.

Today I specialise in editing books that take complex topics and try to explain them in a clear, engaging manner, whether that might be business and professional development books, 'how to' guides or educational textbooks.
